Curious Mind’s Privacy Policy

Curious Mind’s Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share and store your personal information – and why. You should always feel safe when you share personal information with us.

Through our privacy policy, we want to show how we ensure that your personal information is processed as required by law. You are always entitled to:

  • know what personal information we have saved about you
  • request that they be corrected or deleted
  • withdraw your consent in whole or in part.

Curious Mind AB, organization number 556724-7811, is responsible for all processing of personal data within Curious Mind.

What is personal data?

All information directly or indirectly linked to a physical living person can, by law, be seen as personal data. Examples are names, email addresses, photos and IP addresses.

What personal data do we collect and why?

Our newsletters. If you want to stay in touch with us and receive emails with smart tips, invitations and news, we need your email. By registering, you give us your consent to receive our emails. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Clients – present and future. We only collect and store the personal information necessary to fulfill our agreement: information about the company, contact person and how we can get in touch. We save the information during the time we work together and up to 24 months after we finish the collaboration.

Courses. If you are interested in knowing more about our courses or want to sign up for one, we need your contact information to send your booking confirmation and invoice. We only keep the data for as long as is required by the Swedish Accounting Act.

Recruitment and possible recruitment. In order to handle job applications, new recruitments and our employees, we need personal information such as name, email address, social security number and physical address.

  • When we recruit, we use the data to complete or terminate the recruitment process. In the legal guidelines it is stated that it is in our legitimate interest to retrieve the information in this context. We save recruitment documents 24 months from the time they were sent.
  • For our employees, we use the data to comply with the employment contract.
  • We only save information about former employees to meet legal requirements in the Accounting Act. Other information is deleted.

Cookies. On our websites we use cookies, a text file containing information stored on your computer. We do this to improve and develop the site so that it works as well as possible for you as a visitor. You can turn off cookies by accessing your browser’s security settings, but keep in mind that some features may not be optimized or accessible if you change the setting.

Analysis. We use the Google Analytics statistics tool to measure and analyze traffic and user behavior on our site. By evaluating the information, we can develop the web content and our offer. We only use anonymous data in the analysis.

In addition, we also use the Facebook Pixel. This serves as an analytics tool to provide ads tailored to your own areas of interest from social networks.

Film and photo. We take photos when we have courses and customer ventures to share what we are doing with the outside world. The pictures can be published on our site or social channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram. If you want us to remove a photo where you are visible, please contact us at

Who holds the information?

We have suppliers called personal information assistants who help us with, for example, IT services, recruitment systems and sales tools. When necessary – and only then – we share your personal information with them. For these vendors, we have personal data agreements that governs the use of information only in accordance with our instructions.

We may also need to share the data with government agencies for legal reasons.

Where do we store your information?

We have systems and internal processes to ensure that all the information we process is protected from and not accessible to unauthorized persons. Only those employees who need access will have access to the personal data we store.

Our goal is to process your personal information within the EU / EEA, but some of our suppliers are established or store information in other countries. One example is the Mailchimp system we use for our newsletters, for which we pass personal data to the United States to store in their cloud services. This data is handled under Privacy Shield.

Where do we get your personal information?

In addition to the personal data you provide to us, we may obtain information that is publicly available from third parties like Facebook and LinkedIn to handle recruitment processes. In these situations, you will be notified and may approve for us to keep it.

Changes to the Personal Data Policy

We may need to make changes to our policy due to, for example, legislative changes, directives, regulations or court practices that we do not control. The latest version is always available on our websites.

Information, correction and deletion

You are entitled to access your personal data that we handle and store. You can also correct, complete and delete data that is not required for legal reasons. If you want a registry excerpt, you need to send your request as a physical letter to us as your physical signature is required.

Keep in mind that, in some cases, we cannot delete your personal information for legal reasons.
